Asset management firm Bitwise has announced the launch of a new exchange-traded product (ETP) that combines bitcoin (BTC) and gold. The Bitwise Diaman Bitcoin & Gold ETP, labeled as BTCG, began trading operations on Thursday across Euronext Paris and Amsterdam.

This innovative financial product mimics the movements of the Diaman Bitcoin and Gold Index. The index itself is designed to dynamically adjust the balance between bitcoin and gold, reacting to the risk-adjusted performance of bitcoin. This strategy aims to capitalize on market trends by shifting between risk-driven and risk-averse financial behaviors.
