Coinbase Plans Major Expansion Amid Policy Advances

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a significant announcement following the White House's recent crypto summit, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong disclosed plans to expand the U.S. operations significantly by hiring an additional thousand personnel. Armstrong attributes this decision to the favorable policy environment that has emerged during the early days of President Donald Trump's second term.

"It's only been, what, 50 days or something like that, and it's already created enough of a tailwind that we feel more confident in investing in the United States and growing our business here," Armstrong stated in an interview with CoinDesk. The ambitious hiring initiative is scheduled to be completed within the current year.
